Job summary

AeroVironment offers a paid Summer Internship Program across the United States. This 12-week, onsite experience places you with AV teams on meaningful projects in aerospace and defense, focusing on Quality Engineering and manufacturing development.

Eligible students or recent graduates must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in a technical or engineering degree program. Relocation and housing stipends may be available; programs are discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or eligible status required.
• Currently enrolled in college/university for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a technical/engineering major.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Available to work part-time (40 hours/week) for 8–12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with investigations involving production and customer issues.
• Use measuring equipment (Calipers, Micrometers) for dimensional analysis.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions.
• Work under close supervision with detailed instructions.
• Use software tools in your area of expertise.
• Participate in all aspects of quality inspections, investigations, and process audit program.
