Job summary

AeroVironment offers a Summer Internship Program with a dedicated Quality Engineering Intern track across multiple U.S. locations. The 12-week onsite program places students or recent graduates on meaningful projects impacting product development and quality assurance.

Interns work with MS Office, Minitab, and SolidWorks Inspection, gaining hands-on experience in the Quality Engineering/Manufacturing path while receiving relocation or housing reimbursement where applicable.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or eligible status as defined by ITAR/EAR; must qualify as a U.S. person.
• Must be enrolled in a college/university pursuing a technical or engineering degree during the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
• Available to work part-time (40 hours/week) for 8–12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with investigations involving production and customer issues
• Use measuring equipment such as Calipers and Micrometers to measure products for dimensional analysis
• Participate in problem-solving sessions
• Receives detailed instructions on all work under close supervision
• Work with software tools in your area of expertise
• Participates in all aspects of the Quality inspections, investigations, and process audit program
• Receives detailed instructions on all work under close supervision
• Other duties as assigned
