Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week, onsite Summer Internship Program in the United States. You will join a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and test software across AV technology portfolio, from ground control systems to data pipelines and simulations.

The role favors students who are currently enrolled in college or are recent graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and relocation/housing stipends may be available.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in CS/SE or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with IDEs like Visual Studio, Git, Eclipse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, coding, testing, and debugging of software components.
• Contribute to tools and applications for AV robotics and aerospace platforms.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to integrate new capabilities.
