RTX is seeking a Quality Engineer intern to support the OSCQ functions within the defense sector in Tucson, AZ. You will act as the quality interface, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across functions to close issues quickly while ensuring program contracts and customer objectives are met.
Ideal candidates are pursuing an Engineering/STEM degree, have at least 60 credits, and are capable of obtaining a DoD security clearance.

As a Quality Engineer intern, you will acquire an understanding of what is required to be the Quality interface and drive overall quality performance including continuous improvement and implementation of lean/agile methodologies. You will help to ensure programs meet customer objectives by working closely with other functions to support rapid closure of issues utilizing analytical capabilities and communication skills. You will work in a results-based culture with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Security Clearance Type: DoD Clearance: Secret. Status: Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
