Job summary

RTCA is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure compliance with customer engineering and quality requirements from PO receipt to delivery. You will review orders, approve work instructions, and participate in audits and corrective actions at our Chatsworth, CA site.

The role requires aerospace QA experience, knowledge of AS9100 Rev D, and collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and customers. Onsite work with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five years’ aerospace quality experience.
• Lean/manufacturing improvement experience.
• Proficiency with QMS and AS9100 Rev D.
• Experience with quality planning and supplier quality.
• Microsoft Office and MRP systems experience.
• Able to work independently with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Contract review to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Approve internal work orders per customer requirements.
• Maintain procedures, work instructions and forms per standards.
• Internal audits to AS9100 Rev D and company standards.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement.
