Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer to support Engineering Validation Testing (EVT) for spacecraft. The role requires coordinating test setups, ensuring calibration and software versions are current, and driving timely disposition of nonconformances.

Key duties include cross-functional RCCA, documentation of EIDPs, and collaboration with QE, Test Engineering, and Systems Engineering to ensure smooth test execution and compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum five years in Quality Engineering, aerospace preferred.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS and customer requirements.
• Strong RCCA facilitation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present technically.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to procedures and contract requirements during EVT campaigns.
• Verify test setup configuration, calibration, and flight software versions.
• Verify post-test signoffs and disposition of nonconformances.
• Document and facilitate disposition of NCs and test flags in TIPQA, Teamcenter, and IMBSMBS.
• Support operational tasks including integration and testing, installations, and bus movements.
• Participate in daily planning and communicate quality issues to the Customer.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering, Systems Engineering, and QE to resolve issues.
