Rantec Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer L3 to provide QA/QC leadership in product realization from design through delivery.

You will conduct audits, review design outputs, support ECN reviews, and mentor junior QA/QC staff within an AS9100D framework. The role requires a BS in a technical field or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of APQP, FAI per AS9102, SPC tools, and experience in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical field or 10+ years quality experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with APQP is desirable.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection per AS9102 is desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of SPC tools.
• QC Engineer experience in aerospace design/manufacturing.
• 5+ years in an AS9100 environment.
• Working knowledge of electrical/mechanical inspection requirements (J-STD-001, IPC-A-610).
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform audits of areas, processes, and procedures including internal QMS audits.
• Evaluate design outputs and approve configuration changes.
• Provide technical and compliance support to design and production activities.
• Lead First Article Inspection (FAI) as required.
• Participate in customer quality assessments and audits.
• Train Quality personnel in areas such as ESD and FOD control.
• Assist in and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinate ECN reviews, provide feedback and signatures on changes.
• Interface with government and customer inspectors; mentor junior QA staff.
• Lead MRB meetings and manage non-conforming materials disposition.
• Maintain and ensure compliance of QMS to AS9100D; provide leadership on product matters.
