Rantec Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer Level 1 to provide quality control support across product realization, from design reviews to production delivery. The role includes audits, training, ECN involvement, and driving containment actions within the QA framework.

The ideal candidate has APQP awareness, SPC tool experience, and strong communication skills. ITAR compliance and an aerospace/defense context are important, with flexibility to work shifts as required.

Qualificações

• BS degree in a technical field desirable; 10+ yrs quality experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) is desirable.
• Knowledge of First Article Inspection in accordance with AS9102 is desirable.
• Strong working knowledge of SPC tools.
• QC Engineer experience, preferably in an Aerospace design and manufacturing environment.
• 0-2 years’ experience in an organization certified to an AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical inspection requirements, including J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.

Responsabilidades

• Perform audits of specific areas, processes, and procedures including internal QMS audits.
• Train Quality personnel in subject areas; such as ESD and FOD control, QMS procedures.
• Perform related duties of QA department as assigned.
• Support Quality Control Manager as necessary.
• ECNS – Support ECN review, provide feedback and signature on acceptable changes.
• Generate and issue Quality Alerts as necessary.
• Support project teams toward conclusion when product failures and defect trends are identified.
• Preventive and corrective action activities including containment, root cause analysis and corrective action.
