Job summary

Rantec Power Systems Inc. seeks a Quality Control Engineer L2 to provide leadership across the QA/QC program, ensuring compliance with AS9100D and customer requirements. You will mentor junior engineers, lead MRB and containment actions, and coordinate with design, procurement, and production to resolve quality issues.

The ideal candidate has extensive aerospace QA experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to train others in QMS procedures and process improvements.

Qualifications

• This role requires strong QA/QC leadership in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience with AS9100D and customer audits is preferred.
• Proven ability to mentor junior QA/QC staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal QMS audits and MRB meetings.
• Support ECN reviews and supplier quality issues.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) when needed.
• Provide training on ESD, FOD control, and QMS procedures.
• Interface with government inspectors and customers on quality matters.
• Drive continuous improvement and preventive/corrective actions.
