Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, operations management, or related field with at least 4 years in quality control or related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in an individual contributor capacity.
• Knowledge of quality control, manufacturing inspection, product acceptance, and quality management practices.
• Understanding of inspection procedures, nonconformance management, and quality documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in reviewing inspection results, GD&T, measurement data, and product acceptance records.
• Familiarity with AS9100, QMS, CAPA, and established quality procedures.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) and QMS tools (ETQ Reliance, Arena QMS, MasterControl).
• Experience with inspection/reporting tools (Minitab, JMP, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
• Assign inspection tasks, coordinate personnel and resources, monitor workflow and deliverables.
• Review inspection results, acceptance records, and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor records, nonconformance reports, and quality documentation for discrepancies.
• Verify inspection activities follow procedures, specs, and customer requirements.
• Prepare inspection summaries and status updates for management.
• Direct daily activities of quality control personnel and provide training and guidance.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and QA to address issues.
• Communicate findings to management and applicable personnel for review and resolution.
• Identify recurring discrepancies and improve workflows to enhance productivity.
• Support quality control improvements and standardized work practices.
