Zusammenfassung

CesiumAstro is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Control to oversee daily incoming, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring hardware meets engineering specs and aerospace standards.

You will assign tasks, train staff, review records, and communicate findings to management while coordinating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance to maintain production flow.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent in quality management, engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• 4+ years in quality control, manufacturing inspection, or quality assurance.
• Experience leading quality control activities and teams.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures, nonconformance, and documentation.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and quality management systems.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities in line with schedules and quality requirements.
• Assign inspection tasks, coordinate personnel and resources, monitor workflow and deliverables.
• Review inspection results and records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures.
• Monitor nonconformance reports and quality documentation to identify discrepancies and maintain records.
• Verify inspections follow approved procedures, specs, and customer requirements.
• Prepare inspection summaries, reports, and status updates on performance and issues.
• Direct daily activities of QC personnel, providing instructions and training.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and QA to address issues and maintain workflow.
• Communicate findings to management and relevant personnel for review and resolution.
• Identify recurring discrepancies and opportunities to improve workflows and productivity.
• Adjust inspection workflows and documentation to improve efficiency.
• Support QC improvements, standardized practices, and corrective actions.
