Job summary

CesiumAstro in Colorado is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Control to lead daily inspection activities and ensure hardware meets engineering specs and aerospace standards. You will direct QC personnel and coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and QA to maintain product conformity.

The role requires hands-on leadership, practical knowledge of GD&T, nonconformance control, and AS9100/QMS familiarity, with a strong focus on process improvements and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in quality control, manufacturing inspection, or related field.
• Proven leadership experience in an individual contributor role.
• Knowledge of inspection procedures, nonconformance, and documentation.
• Familiar with AS9100, CAPA, and QMS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
• Assign inspection tasks and monitor workflow and outputs.
• Review inspection results and quality records for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and QA.
• Lead improvements to inspection processes and documentation.
