Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Control to oversee daily inspection activities and ensure hardware meets engineering specs and aerospace standards. You will lead QC personnel, coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Operations, and ensure accurate documentation and continuous improvement.

The role requires practical QA knowledge, GD&T proficiency, and experience with QC processes in aerospace environments. Strong leadership and ERP/QMS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with at least 4 years in quality control or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in an individual contributor capacity.
• Practical knowledge of QC, manufacturing inspection, and QA practices.
• Understanding of incoming, in-process, and final inspection procedures and documentation.
• Proficiency with GD&T, measurement data, and product acceptance records.
• Familiar with AS9100, CAPA, and QMS procedures.
• MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and ERP/QMS tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities per schedules and quality requirements.
• Assign inspection tasks, coordinate personnel/resources, monitor workflow and deliverables.
• Review inspection results and quality records for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor nonconformance, maintain quality records, and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and QA to address issues.
• Prepare inspection summaries, quality reports, and status updates.
