Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Materials or related Engineering field. MS or MBA degree is required.
• Prefer 3+ years of experience in a quality role in a manufacturing environment.
• Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma Certification experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes for internal and external non-conformances, escapes, or returns.
• Communicate proposed product/process changes to customers and ensure implementation.
• Lead problem solving using 8D’s and related tools.
• Perform audits to monitor product quality and ISO 9001/AS9100 conformance.
• Develop and maintain training plans for quality personnel.
• Improve inspection procedures and testing methods in operations.
• Travel ~25% between Ceramic Group facilities as needed.
