Job summary

Redwire Corporation in Goleta, CA seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure supplier materials and in-house products meet program, contractual, and quality control requirements. Lead calibration programs and guide quality teams across the Goleta site.

Responsibilities include overseeing inspections, driving data-driven improvements, mentoring staff, and coordinating corrective actions with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or STEM with 8+ years in QA/QC; or 12+ years equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of receiving, in-process, final inspection, and calibration systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100.
• Strong root-cause analysis and CAPA experience.
• Proficient in GD&T and mechanical inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead site- level receiving, in-process, and final QA inspections and calibration program.
• Drive continuous improvement; manage projects and mentor staff.
• Provide direction and coaching; support hiring decisions and performance management.
• Own QAMS processes for receiving, inspection, calibration, and related procedures.
• Maintain metrics, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering and project management.
• Address nonconforming materials and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Interface with program personnel on QA topics and support other projects as needed.
