Job summary

VACCO Industries in California seeks a Quality Assurance professional to evaluate quality processes, procedures and statistical techniques, analyze production limitations, and interface with engineering, customers and suppliers on quality issues to ensure compliant, ship-ready products.

You will oversee quality plans, audit data, translate customer requirements into manufacturing instructions, participate in MRB, and drive corrective and preventive actions, while collaborating with design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3–6 years in Aerospace QA.
• Experience reviewing customer quotes and contracts for quality requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality plans and review changes, drive process improvements.
• Review certifications, data, work orders, and inspection reports for accuracy.
• Interact with Engineering to identify quality problems and resolve them.
• Translate customer quality requirements into manufacturing instructions and control plans.
• Serve on the MRB, participate in corrective/preventive actions and audits.
• Support audits and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
