Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Cleveland, OH, seeks a Quality Engineer II to lead quality initiatives, ensure regulatory and customer compliance, and improve manufacturing processes for forged aerospace components.

You will maintain the quality system, drive CAPA actions, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to ensure traceability and high product quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering, Material Science or Metallurgy; 3+ years of quality engineering experience or 7+ years aerospace engineering experience in lieu of degree.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and final products against specifications.
• Lead corrective actions using 5-Why and 8D; drive continuous improvement and 5S/LEAN projects.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to transfer new products to production per customer requirements.
• Prepare and submit customer approval documentation; create quality manuals and procedures.
