Job summary

AV in California seeks a Quality Engineer II to ensure product quality and drive CI initiatives. You will lead CAPA, support PRR reviews, and coordinate with QA teams to prevent defects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field with multiple quality-system competencies, including DMAIC, FMEA, PPAP, and SPC. Strong data analysis and customer/supplier communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with required experience in quality systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:AS9100, AS9102 standards and audits.
• Experience with dimensional inspection and GD&T concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Quality Technicians and inspectors to ensure quality controls.
• Drive corrective actions and failure analysis in a timely manner.
• Support product readiness reviews and final inspection activities.
• Perform process capability analyses and implement quality plans.
• Review contracts and NPI specs to ensure quality requirements.
