Job summary

Air Tractor, Inc. is seeking an Engineer to coordinate activities addressing engineering-related production problems at our Olney facility.

The role involves interpreting drawings and correcting errors identified during manufacturing, while collaborating with engineering, quality control, purchasing, and manufacturing teams to provide technical support. The ideal candidate will participate in the material review board, develop corrective action plans, and ensure drawings and documents remain

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering (Mechanical or Aerospace preferred).
Strong computer skills: CAD, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems in manufacturing.
Interpret engineering drawings and facilitate correction of errors on drawings and documents identified during manufacturing operations.
Interact with engineering staff, quality control, purchasing, manufacturing and other departments to provide technical support.
Serve as a member of the material review board to determine disposition of defective or damaged parts.
Evaluate findings to formulate a corrective action plan and coordinate implementation of that plan.
Ensure engineering drawings and documents are current and that engineering-related production problems and resolutions are documented.
