Job summary

ATC (Argo Turboserve Corporation) seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to certify airworthiness of parts and ensure compliance with FAA, AS9100, ISO, OEM, and customer requirements. You will inspect aerospace hardware, issue airworthiness certifications, and manage FAIRs using NetInspect in support of shipping operations.

Qualifications

• Customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong aerospace QA and inspection background required.
• Experience with NetInspect and customer quality portals preferred.
• Working knowledge of AS9102 FAIRs and AS9100 requirements.
• read engineering drawings, GD&T, and CA tools.
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and precision tools.
• Ability to define processes and create work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Certify parts using FAA Form 8130-3 to meet FAA requirements.
• Perform and review AS9102 FAIRs.
• Utilize NetInspect to manage FAIR documentation and quality records.
• Ensure supplier products meet contractual, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Inspect aerospace hardware at receiving, in-process, and final stages.
• Investigate root cause and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Process customer returns and non-conforming material reports.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, OEMs, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain the Quality Control Hold Area and disposition activities.
• Stay updated on FAA, AS9100, and aerospace standards.
• Support audits and company policies.
