Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to direct quality compliance, continuous improvement and operational execution across our blades, DCR, NDT and tail boom operations in Texas.

You will lead a 13‑person QA team, champion a right‑first‑time culture and Lean manufacturing, and ensure FAA, AS9100 and EASA regulatory adherence. This senior role involves budgeting, staff development and active management of NCs and KPIs to drive product quality and on-time

Qualifications

• Active A&P certification required.
• Experience leading QA teams in aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of FAA, AS9100, EASA and regulatory standards.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Budgeting and resource planning for OPEX and CAPEX.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for inspectors and set goals aligned with KPIs.
• Manage departmental budgets (OPEX/CAPEX) and align with company objectives.
• Oversee the Quality Management System and audits.
• Drive career development and build a collaborative team.
• Ensure NCs are dispositioned with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
