Job summary

Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA across Blades, DCR, NDT, and Tail Boom operations. You will direct quality compliance, drive continuous improvement, and manage a team of 13 QA inspectors, ensuring FAA/AS9100/EASA compliance and a zero-escape culture.

You will shape budgets, mentor staff, and implement Lean manufacturing principles in a high-impact, on-site role with travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Active A&P certification required.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience (4 years) required.
• Ten or more years in the aerospace industry.
• Five or more years in a management role.
• Must have a valid, current Airframe and Powerplant License.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for inspectors.
• Oversee budgets (OPEX/CAPEX) and department objectives.
• Manage Quality Management System and internal/external audits.
• Develop career growth for staff and foster a collaborative team.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with FAA, AS9100, EASA, and other standards.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure zero escapes and right-first-time quality.
