Airbus Helicopters, Inc. in Texas seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to direct quality compliance and continuous improvement across Blades, DCR, NDT, and Tail Boom operations. You will lead a team of 13 inspectors, championing a zero-escape culture, right-first-time quality and Lean manufacturing.

The role requires FAA, AS9100, EASA compliance knowledge, budgeting responsibilities, career development, and a strong aviation culture. On-site near Grand Prairie, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical experience (4 years).
• Ten or more years in the aerospace industry.
• Five or more years in a management role.
• MUST HAVE a valid, current Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Extensive knowledge of aerospace industry, helicopter MRO components and special processes.
• Ability to lead and direct complex assignments.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, vision, and strategic planning for inspectors; set clear goals.
• Oversee department budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) and AHNA objectives.
• Manage Quality Management System compliance and audits.
• Lead staff development and ensure regulatory competency for DCR, Blades, and Equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement using PDCA and other problem solving tools.
• Ensure timely disposition of NCs and effective root cause actions.
