Job summary

Comlux America in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead daily QA, QC, and regulatory compliance for aircraft completion and maintenance. Reports to Director of Quality & Safety Assurance, ensuring AS9100, 14 CFR Part 145, FAA/EASA compliance and strong corrective actions.

The role partners with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, and Operations to mitigate risks, improve processes, and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance, Quality Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5–7 years in aviation maintenance, MRO, or a related regulated environment.
• 2–3 years in quality leadership roles with audits and improvements.
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145, AS9100, FAA/EASA requirements.
• Experience with quality records, inspections, and regulatory docs.
• FAA A&P license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day quality assurance and quality control across operations.
• Implement and administer quality policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with Part 145, AS9100, FAA/EASA requirements.
• Support AS9100 system through audits, corrective actions, and improvements.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide leadership to Quality personnel and manage performance.
• Assist external and customer audits and regulatory reviews.
• Maintain quality records and control of documentation.
• Identify risks and drive corrective/preventive actions.
