Textron Aviation is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance in San Antonio, TX to lead a high-impact QA team and ensure maintenance meets FAA and ISO standards, driving continuous improvement across inspection operations.

You will oversee regulatory compliance, reporting, and technical documentation, manage calibration of inspection tools, and ensure safe handling of parts and chemicals. This role offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package and growth opportunities within a global aviation leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of aviation, quality, manufacturing, or service experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 11 or more years of relevant experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-impact quality team ensuring FAA and ISO standards.
• Oversee regulatory compliance: FAA Part 145, SMS, ISO9002.
• Drive quality performance: monitor metrics and reports to leadership.
• Manage technical documentation: manuals, FAA forms, maintenance records.
• Maintain inspection tools and calibration per standards.
• Oversee material safety and chemical handling per OSHA/EPA policies.
• Validate airworthiness of incoming parts and manage rejected components.
