Job summary

Knowles is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure products meet acceptability thresholds and maintain AS9100 compliant processes. The role plans, directs, and coordinates QA programs and formulates quality control policies across manufacturing. You will lead audits, analyze production data, respond to customer complaints, and coach the QA team toward continual improvement.

Requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain security clearance, a technical bachelor’s degree, and 7+ years QA

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required due to access to sensitive information.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• 7+ years of progressive Quality experience with 3 years in a managerial role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Planning and project management abilities.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Experience producing inspection and FAI reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop QA plans with hazard analyses, critical control points, and preventive measures.
• Maintain and improve product quality via audits and surveillance.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and adhere to AS9100/QMS.
• Review production data and identify trends.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare quality documentation and reports on quality trends and recalls.
• Schedule QC inspectors for daily production needs.
• Lead and train QA staff to promote continuous improvement.
• Document and maintain QA procedures and records.
• Perform performance reviews for direct reports.
