Job summary

Albers Aerospace is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to implement an ISO 9001 compliant QMS with a plan to transition to AS9100. You will lead certification activities, drive corrective and preventive actions, and manage a quality team in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires 7+ years in quality management, aerospace/defense experience, and strong leadership. Onsite with potential hybrid arrangements; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required or preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of quality management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with QMS implementation, auditing, and certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, robotics, or advanced manufacturing industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve QMS in partnership with stakeholders.
• Lead supplier quality evaluations, reviews, and audits.
• Build and develop the Quality department to support growth.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to resolve issues.
• Oversee inspections, documentation control, and nonconformance management.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Develop quality metrics and drive improvement opportunities.
• Review quality contracts; advise on risk/compliance.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and customer requirements are met.
