Job summary

Zenix Aerospace AMT/Damar in Arlington, WA, is seeking a QA Manual Inspector to join our precision manufacturing team. The role covers inspection of machined and sheet metal components, verifies conformity to drawings, and documents acceptance or rejection per customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in inspection in regulated environments, aerospace experience preferred, and familiarity with GD&T, AS9102, and NDT processes.

Qualifications

• Three years hands-on inspection experience in a regulated industry.
• Two years aerospace inspection experience preferred.
• Passing score on Advanced Level Engineering Drawings Test.
• Passing score on Fluent Level Test on GD&T.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets aerospace drawings, tolerances, and technical requirements.
• Compares product to drawings/specifications and orders using inspection tools to accept/reject per requirements.
• Documents acceptance/rejection on the manufacturing order and updates related records.
• Performs Rockwell and Eddy Current testing for product acceptance.
• Applies statistical sampling techniques.
• Reviews NDT certifications and finishes; verifies final product appearance.
• Performs FAI per Company and AS9102 requirements.
• Follows safety guidelines and uses equipment properly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
