Job summary

Demgy Pacific, LLC in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to verify product conformance to engineering definitions and support production departments with verification activities.

The role requires familiarity with inspection methods, blueprint reading, GD&T, and aerospace drawing interpretation, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail and teamwork. Eligible applicants will have aerospace manufacturing experience and knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• High School education (or equivalent) with a strong mathematical background required.
• Inspector 1:1-2 years’ experience in quality inspection or manufacturing role with inspection duties required
• Inspector 2: 3-5 years’ experience in quality inspection or manufacturing role with inspection duties required
• Previous experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment is required
• Previous experience with ERP/MRP software is preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow the company’s Quality Management System and encourage others to do the same
• The primary responsibility of the job is to inspect product currently in production at the machine
• Utilize blueprint reading and specification interpretation skills to perform required inspections
• Use experience and judgment to select appropriate and efficient inspection and measurement techniques to perform:
• First part buy-off and in-process inspection of manufactured details and assemblies
• Final inspection and document review
• Document non-conformances for MRB in ERP system
• Control of Documents, External and Internal
• Assist with Internal Quality Audits
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills
• Utilize all time saving methods personally developed or prescribed, by management when applicable
• Show concerted effort to improve knowledge and grow with the company's technology
• Follow the company's Quality Management System and guide others to do the same
• Work well with others and follow directions in a team environment under project leaders or supervisors
• Develop inspection procedures and methods, make setups, determine the deviation from blueprint or standard, and report results
• Assisting less experienced employees as required
