Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Purchasing & Quoting Analyst for on-site engagement in Manchester, CT. You will manage the full purchasing lifecycle from RFQ to PO, coordinating with engineering, production and quality to ensure on-time deliveries in a regulated aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include supplier selection, PO management, expediting, data integrity in ERP/MRP, and performance monitoring of suppliers and schedules.

Qualifications

• Direct purchasing experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience owning the full procurement cycle from RFQ to PO close.
• Experience expediting materials tied to production schedules and resolving supplier delays.

Responsibilities

• Issue RFQs and evaluate supplier quotes for pricing, lead times, and quality.
• Select suppliers based on cost, lead time, quality, and capability.
• Create, release, and manage purchase orders from initiation to closure.
• Track open PO lines and monitor delivery status to align with production schedules.
• Expedite materials and components to minimize production impact.
• Resolve supplier issues related to late deliveries, quality concerns, and doc discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data and PO status.
• Support BOM-driven purchasing and align orders with engineering specs.
• Monitor supplier performance (OTD, quality) and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and quality to align purchasing with requirements.
