Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business unit, is seeking a highly experienced engineer to lead cross-functional teams in aircraft engine propulsion projects. You will drive technical tasks, coordinate with multiple sites and suppliers, and manage producibility improvements to meet strict performance targets.

The role emphasizes leadership of cross-functional teams, data-driven problem solving, and experience with engineering changes and supplier engagement in a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of relevant engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams or projects and applying data-driven problem-solving to resolve technical, production, quality, or process issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional Integrated Product Team to execute technical tasks, resolve production issues, and deliver turbine airfoil hardware.
• Coordinate with engineering leadership, program management, Component IPTs, manufacturing sites, and suppliers to communicate status, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Drive producibility and process improvement activities to meet schedule, quality, cost, and performance targets.
• Monitor and manage team performance against control tower metrics, budgets, schedules, and deliverables; take corrective action as needed.
• Lead external supplier and outsource activities, including Statements of Work development and performance management, with sourcing strategies to support priorities.
