Job summary

RTX's Pratt & Whitney seeks a Product Manufacturing Engineer to own the sequence of operations for assigned parts and drive work instructions, including FAI development and procurement approvals.

You will organize PPAP/MRL development, track product quality and cost, and lead the capital start-up for ramp schedules while coordinating with ME and support groups to resolve production issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree with at least 3 years of related work experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Own the sequence of operations for assigned parts and drive completion of work instructions.
• Organize and lead PPAP/MRL development on assigned hardware and track quality and cost improvements.
• Coordinate capital start up to support ramp schedules.
• Own the Integrate Master Schedule and communicate with support groups and ME.
• Represent Manufacturing in discussions with Engineering on production issues.
• Provide technical help to suppliers on part details, tools and consumables.
• Promote CORE principles and maintain world-class safety culture while adhering to EH&S requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and align with company policies.
• Perform other duties as required by Management.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience

Advanced Degree with a minimum of 3 years' related work expereince
