Job summary

TRIUMPHdesigns in Macomb, MI seeks a Program Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives for aerospace components. The role involves interfacing with customers on MRB, supporting audits, and driving corrective actions across cross-functional teams to meet end-customer specifications.

The position requires 3+ years in aerospace quality, strong analytical abilities, and experience with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, 8D and RCCA processes. Onsite in Macomb, with comprehensive health and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Quality role in an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical and quantitative abilities with data management skills.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, 8D, A3 problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Customer to process nonconforming parts (MRB) and support audits.
• Collaborate with customer and teams to execute NPI requirements and cost savings.
• Own development, review, monitor, and improvement activities related to end-customer requirements.
• Ensure all Customer requirements are established, documented, and communicated.
• Provide quality interface between organization, customers and suppliers to ensure satisfaction.
• Interpret and evaluate test results against engineering requirements and standards.
• Review customer drawings and specifications to understand requirement flow downs.
• Guide engineers and inspectors on engineering and inspection requirements.
• Participate in APQP/PPAP and provide documentation to Customers.
• Track and report monthly quality performance metrics.
