Job summary

Troy Design and Manufacturing in Plymouth, MI is seeking an Adv Quality Engineer-Aerospace to drive quality improvements for aerospace programs. The role involves ensuring compliance with AS9100/NADCAP standards and supporting program launches.

You will lead corrective actions, develop PFMEA and control plans, and interact with customers and suppliers to maintain quality. A Bachelor degree and 4+ years in automotive/aerospace quality are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related discipline or equivalent with 4 yrs. of Quality experience in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical problem solving, 8D writing, and familiarity with AS9100/ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure understanding and dissemination of aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Support process development for new activities including aerospace program launches.
• Develop and maintain quality standards and documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans) for aerospace programs.
• Participate in audits and supplier related QA activities.
• Lead corrective actions using 8D, JIRA, and customer portals.
