Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a senior program leader to direct development, qualification and transition of Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems for defense and space markets. You will coordinate with engineering, supply chain, customer support and finance to secure funding, manage risk, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in project engineering or program management related disciplines.
• Proven track record with Earned Value Management tools and processes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage risk and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with cost management and scheduling in defense/space programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage programs to ensure successful execution and delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Monitor progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Communicate program and financial issues to all levels and link to strategy.
• Approve resources and costs while leading integrated teams through IPDS.
• Ensure portfolio financial performance to AOP and STRAP.
• Establish MOS and use EVM/SOW/WBS/BOE management practices.
