Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ is seeking a seasoned Engineering Program Manager to lead development, qualification, and transition to production of advanced Electro-Mechanical Actuation Systems for defense and space.

You will define scope with cross-functional teams, develop project plans, budgets, and resource allocations, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while reporting to the Director of Program Management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in engineering program management.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Proven expertise using Earned Value Management tools and processes.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage programs to ensure successful execution and delivery.
• Lead and manage key proposals.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and implement project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Employ PM tools and processes (EVM, SOW, WBS, BOE, scope/requirements, scheduling, cost).
• Establish and own a MOS (Management Operating System).
• Collaborate with Program Control to review cost and schedule metrics.
• Identify and mitigate risks to prevent delivery issues.
• Communicate program management and financial issues to leadership; link performance to strategy.
• Ensure portfolio financial performance to AOP and STRAP.
• Drive policy changes and change management; mentor teams.
