Job summary

Blue Origin in Florida is seeking a Production Support Specialist to aid manufacturing technicians on the floor, ensuring focus during critical aerospace builds. You will coordinate between technicians, engineering, and planning, with hands-on responsibility for tooling, equipment, and safety in a dynamic spaceflight environment.

The role emphasizes real-time problem solving, 5S discipline, and seamless production support across payload systems preparation, testing, and vehicle assembly tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Manufacturing & Production Support experience (0-3 years Level I, 3+ years Level II, 5+ years Level III, 8+ years Level IV).
• Collaborate with teams of varied skills and backgrounds.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Basic digital literacy (Windows, MS Office).
• Ability to climb ladders/stairs and work in restricted areas.
• Lift up to 35 lbs and operate material handling equipment.
• Must have a U.S. citizenship or eligible status.

Responsibilities

• Configure new production work areas with required tooling and equipment to support high-rate manufacturing.
• Operate material handling equipment and precision tools to maintain safety and quality.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
• Drive transition from development to production and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas following 5S principles.
• Prepare and test payload systems and hardware, including painting, sealing, composites, repairs, testing, and assembly support.
