Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a skilled Technician in Integration Engineering to set up production areas, operate precision tools, and lead continuous improvement for safe spaceflight.

The role involves configuring workspaces, testing aerospace structures, and supporting vehicle assembly while ensuring high safety and quality standards. Requires 5+ years in aerospace/manufacturing and ability to lift 50 lbs, with on-site work in Florida.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or related field.
• Experience with pneumatic/fluids systems, hydraulics, electrical controls cabinet wiring, harness routing/management, data acquisition, avionics and/or networking systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Experience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Configure new production work areas with needed tooling and equipment for efficient workflow.
• Operate material handling equipment and precision calibrated tools to maintain safety and quality.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency.
• Drive the transition from development to production and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
