Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Project Manager III to guide factory automation execution for the GS2 Gen 2 production system. You will own the Project Horizon program, from requirements through commissioning, aligning engineering, manufacturing, and finance with data-driven decision making.

The role requires 4+ years in aerospace/manufacturing, experience with programmatic frameworks, and PMP (or intent to obtain).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, program management, business or related field.
• 4+ years in aerospace manufacturing or production environments and experience in programmatic frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization and cost/schedule governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the programmatic framework for Factory Automation lifecycle.
• Lead portfolio reviews of cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance for Project Horizon.
• Own capital expenditure tracking and savings models with ROI analyses.
• Standardize tools, processes, and KPIs across projects to improve predictability.
• Coordinate long-range planning and resource allocation with engineering, manufacturing, and finance.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and drive cross-functional improvements.
