Job summary

AeroFlow Technologies LLC in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Production Planner to lead sourcing strategy and supplier execution for our high-precision aerospace manufacturing operations. You will manage day-to-day procurement activities, build supplier capability, negotiate terms, and ensure materials arrive on time to meet production commitments onsite.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience building and maintaining production schedules in an ERP/MRP system (Epicor preferred).
• Aerospace or high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and communicate production schedules to align demand with materials, labor, tooling, equipment, and capacity.
• Plan, sequence, prioritize, and release work orders; ensure teams understand what to complete and when.
• Track WIP, schedule progress, capacity utilization, and status; adjust as needed for shortages or downtime.
• Escalate risks, expedite priority orders, and support recovery plans to protect commitments.
• Maintain planning data in ERP/MRP system, including due dates, routings, and scheduling details.
• Communicate schedule changes and delivery risks to shop leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes with minimal disruption to current production.
• Participate in capacity planning and continuous improvement to reduce lead times and waste.
