Job summary

Continental Aerospace Technologies is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our Supply Chain team in Mobile, AL. You will develop and prioritize production work orders, monitor schedules, and coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of production planning or materials planning experience, with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and release production work orders in ERP to meet demand.
• Coordinate daily with Manufacturing, Production Supervisors, and Value Stream Managers to align priorities.
• Monitor component shortages and supply disruptions and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain visibility of work orders and perform regular WIP reviews.
• Analyze production requirements and available resources to support customer demand.
• Support inventory integrity through counts and record retention.
• Track planning metrics and identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Stores, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service.
• Assist with special projects and production initiatives.
