Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Production Planner and Scheduler – Level 3/4 to support cable assembly, machine shop, and integration in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on producing controlled schedules, coordinating material flow, and advising management on work in progress.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of planning experience (or 8+ for level 4), strong MS Office/ERP skills, and the ability to obtain a US government security clearance. On-site role with 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in operations planning and production scheduling (Level 3) or 8+ years (Level 4).
• Experience in MS Office applications, esp. Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
• Experience planning in an ERP system and familiar with the MRP process.

Responsibilities

• Plan schedules and coordinate with departments to meet production requirements.
• Advise management on work in progress, material availability, and potential problems.
• Prepare work orders or purchase requests based on master production schedule and shop load.
• Coordinate inter-departmental activity (QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory).
