Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Production Planner and Scheduler at Level 3 or 4 to support cable assembly, machine shop and integration. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with 5–8+ years of planning experience, strong MS Office skills, ERP/MRP familiarity, and the ability to obtain a US government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of operations planning and production scheduling
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of operations planning and production scheduling
• In lieu of degree, 4+ additional years of relevant work experience
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
• Must work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience planning in an ERP system and familiar with the MRP process
• Must be a US citizen

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules aligned with material requirements
• Advises management on status of work in progress and material availability
• Schedules equipment and personnel; prepares work orders based on master schedule
• Coordinates inter-departmental activities across QA, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory, logistics
• Performs other duties as assigned by management
