Job summary

Chromalloy in Windsor, CT is seeking a Production Operator to support aerospace component manufacturing and repair in a fast-paced environment. You will perform production, cleaning, assembly, and processing tasks following standard work instructions and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Clear English communication and ability to read/work instructions.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, measuring equipment, and manufacturing machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with safety, quality and continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train and perform production operations across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Use hand tools, power tools, machinery to prepare, clean, process, repair, and assemble components.
• Follow work instructions to cut, shape, bond, form, inject, cure, trim, drill, and repair parts.
• Perform chemical cleaning and surface preparation processes.
• Conduct hand cleaning including acid etch, sanding, blending, deburring.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, tapes to verify quality.
• Inspect and certify your own work to standards.
• Load, transport, and stage components through manufacturing.
• Operate hoists, cranes, and material handling equipment as authorized.
• Follow safety PPE and manufacturing standards.
