Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Windsor, CT to lead manufacturing operations, coach teams, and drive cost-effective, quality production. The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position requires strong leadership and the ability to obtain a Repairman Certificate or hold an A&P license, with English fluency and prior supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Repairman Certificate within 2-4 months of employment or have the credentials (A&P license) to supervise any maintenance activity.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and production processes.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for professional conduct, accountability, and ethical behavior.
• Mentor, coach, and develop production employees to achieve performance objectives.
• Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules to meet goals.
• Ensure production goals are achieved while maintaining quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work area and 5S practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
