Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE, located in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Production Machine Level I to operate and set up production machines, ensuring parts meet blueprints and specifications. The role involves basic tooling checks, SPC data usage, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace. Training on LKI and safety protocols is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Working experience in manufacturing environment procedures.
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in aerospace fastener manufacturing or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic set up and operates up to three automatic machines to produce parts.
• Recognizes and detects machine out-of-tolerance and adjusts controls as required.
• Performs basic trial runs to check accuracy of machine settings.
• Checks parts for conformance to specifications using gauges and shop floor system.
• Detects and remedies minor machine malfunctions and documents issues.
• Determines proper feed and speed combinations to optimize production.
• Maintains data and documentation with Manufacturing/Engineering teams.
• Complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
