Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Production Machine Trainee to perform basic set-ups and operate up to three automatic machines to produce parts per blueprints and specifications.

The role supports Manufacturing and Engineering teams, ensures quality with gauges and SPC, adheres to LEAP and APU/GAP standards, and participates in safety and training programs. A high school diploma and 1–3 years in aerospace manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing or training.
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic gauging tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic set-ups and operates up to three automatic machines to produce parts per blueprints and specifications.
• Recognizes and corrects machine out-of-tolerance conditions and adjusts as needed.
• Performs basic trial runs to check machine settings and data.
• Inspects parts for conformance using gauges and shop floor system.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping per procedures.
