Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE in Torrance, CA is seeking a Production Machine Operator to set up and run automatic machines according to blueprints and specifications.

You will document data, perform basic quality checks, and work with Manufacturing, Engineering and Safety teams to meet performance targets. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in aerospace manufacturing; familiarity with SPC and Shop Floor System preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; aerospace experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in aerospace manufacturing or related field.
• Familiarity with SPC and Shop Floor System beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate up to three automatic machines per blueprints and specifications.
• Perform basic setup, adjust controls, and run trials to verify settings.
• Check parts using gauges and data, document results, and report issues to lead.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean work area.
