Job summary

Parker Aerospace, Commercial Flight Controls Division, headquartered in Ogden, Utah, is seeking a Production Manager to drive the Corporate WIN Strategy by improving quality, cost, delivery, morale and safety in a production area. This role oversees training, development, performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.

Essential functions include supervising Leads, enforcing safety, ensuring quality and capacity planning, and deploying standardized work while leading Lean Kaizen

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or engineering.
• 3–7 years supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Experience with CNC grinding and EDM machines.
• Lean tools knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to work with people at various levels of the organization.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of Leads in the Assembly and Test department.
• Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform capacity analysis and staffing for the area.
• Develop and deploy standardized work instructions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings.
