Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Production Manager in Ogden, Utah to lead the Assembly and Test teams, improve quality, cost, delivery, morale and safety. You will supervise leads, manage workload, develop staff, and ensure adherence to safety and Lean processes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–7 years of supervisory experience, plus experience with CNC grinding/EDM. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required, preferably in business or engineering.
• 3-7 years supervisory experience with leadership abilities.
• Experience with CNC grinding and EDM machines.
• Lean tools knowledge a plus.
• Proficient computer skills and teamwork abilities.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work activity of Leads in the Assembly and Test department; distribute workload and develop team members.
• Promote and enforce safety policies; conduct safety investigations and audits.
• Ensure quality standards and drive continuous improvement to reduce rework and scrap.
• Perform capacity analysis and determine staffing requirements for the production area.
• Develop and deploy standardized work instructions; ensure process stability.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead Lean Kaizen events.
